Distributor Wire Announces New Location Opening in Seattle, WA

Distributor Wire & Cable, an industry leader selling specialty wire and cable through wholesale distribution, announces plans to expand their brand into the Pacific Northwest in the late summer of 2011.

“We’ve been preparing to open this new location for over a year. Once we located the perfect facility, and secured the necessary distributor relationships in this area, we knew the time was right to expand,” remarked Sheila Gentile, Head of Operations at DWC.

DWC new facility is a little more than 26,000 sq ft in the city of Kent, WA, a suburb of Seattle. It will be equipped with the industry's most advanced cutting, dyeing, striping and printing wire and cable machinery. Two employees from their corporate location in Denver have already agreed to move to Seattle and live full time to assist in running this new location.

“We would be ready to open today however the machines we purchased to value add our products are all custom made and can take over 25 weeks to build. Like our Denver location, the Seattle facility will have all new state-of-the-art machinery including a Codemaster 640-J, the most advanced wire striping, dyeing and printing machine available in the world,” commented Eddie Ervin, Director of Logistics at DWC.

Distributor Wire’s brand has exploded the past 3 years since the opening of their Denver location in 2008. They have gained tremendous support from wholesalers all over the Rocky Mountain Region allowing them to stay in growth mode throughout very tough economic times.

“The Pacific Northwest market will be a great challenge for us as a sales team,” remarked Robert Saldi, Director of Sales at DWC. “If we can duplicate the results of our Denver location in this new region, it will create tremendous opportunity for all the employees that work tremendously hard each day at our company.”

Distributor Wire plans to make a formal announcement sometime in late July '11 regarding their official grand opening date in Seattle.
