Diwanee Media Group to join Endeavor's worldwide mentor network - Delphine Edde and Hervé Cuviliez, two of the four founders of the Lebanese company Diwanee Media Group, were selected in December to join Endeavor's worldwide mentor network.


Dubai, United Arab Emirates., February 6, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Delphine Edde and Hervé Cuviliez, two of the four founders of the Lebanese company Diwanee Media Group, were selected in December to join Endeavor's worldwide mentor network.

 
They were selected with 40 others, following a selection process led by business leaders globally and locally.
 
They will now get, along with eight other Lebanese who are already part of Endeavor, the support of the vast Endeavor network whose goal is to generate economic growth by selecting, advising and supporting entrepreneurs with high potential (high impact entrepreneurs) worldwide.
 
In an increasingly digitized age, Diwanee (Arabic for e-gathering) seeks to bring the topics Arab women might discuss amongst themselves to the online platform.
 
By 2015, Arabic is expected to be the fourth most widely used language on the internet, yet only 1.5% of total online content is in Arabic today.
 
Diwanee's specialized web portals 3a2ilati.com (motherhood, health) and Yasmina.com (beauty, fashion, gossip) satisfy its readership with information tailored to their lifestyle and life stage.
 
In just three years, Diwanee has become the market leader in women's lifestyle web content in the Arab language in an environment where large consumer brands are eager to target customer segments with high spending power.
 
The company has created a strong relationship with its readers through a social network integrated into its sites. Wayyana is a community designed around the interests of its members.
 
"For example, a reader who commented many articles about makeup on yasmina.com will get a beauty expert badge and others readers will be able to follow her. The first results show that Wayyana member spends an average of twice as much time on our sites a person who is not on the network," says Delphine Edde.
 
Diwanee, officially created in 2008, is specialized in content production for the Arab world. It employs 130 people from Beirut, Dubai and Belgrade.
 
Endeavor has offices in South America, South Africa and the Middle East. It is established in Lebanon in January 2011. The 800 Network Endeavor entrepreneurs have generated $5bn in revenue and raised $100m capital in 2011. The professional social network LinkedIn is an example of a company created by an Endeavor entrepreneur.
