Beijing, July 8, 2014—Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB) and the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University recently signed a memorandum to establish a scholarship to enable outstanding PhD graduates to pursue postdoctoral studies overseas at the world's leading universities and research centers, and so to secure teaching and research positions in China upon completion.
As China continues its focus on innovation, stronger expertise in encouraging innovation is crucial for future public policy and management professionals. The collaboration between Tsinghua University and Dolby aims to facilitate the development of such expertise and, as a result, foster a stronger environment for innovation in China.
