Devart announces the release of the new versions of ADO.NET data providers, enhanced database connectivity solutions, built over the ADO.NET architecture, that support Entity Framework and LinqConnect - LINQ to SQL-compatible ORM solution.

New versions of ADO.NET Providers introduce users to a whole spectrum of Entity Framework 6 features, such as custom Code First conventions, allowing to easily configure default property mapping or other settings, support for enums and spatials on .NET Framework 4.0, code based configuration, better performance in general and much more.

Those who choose to use dotConnect for Oracle, an advanced ADO.NET provider for Oracle, can also benefit from Entity Framewok spatials on .NET Framework 4.0.

Entity Developer, a modeling and code generation tool for NHibernate, ADO.NET Entity Framework, LinqConnect, and LINQ to SQL, now supports creating and designing Entity Framework 6 models. When creating or editing an Entity Framework model, the target Entity Framework version can be set in the Model Settings.
