Senior Commercial Real Estate Lender Expands Team in Walnut Creek

First Republic Bank, a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that Doug Cook, a commercial real estate lender with more than 22 years of experience, has joined First Republic as Managing Director in Walnut Creek.

Cook works with individuals, families, businesses and foundations to address both sides of a client’s balance sheet. As a relationship manager, Cook serves as a single point of contact to a team of First Republic professionals who provide banking, investment management, trust, brokerage and real estate lending services. Cook works at First Republic’s Walnut Creek office at 1400 Civic Drive.

Prior to joining First Republic, Cook worked for Fremont Bank, most recently as Vice President, Commercial Sales. Prior to that, he was with The Mechanics Bank in the East Bay as Commercial Loan Officer. Cook has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
