Clothes may not make a man but they definitely make a woman. New picture book, "Drag" published by Testum Publishers showcases the works of wonderful drag performers and photographers.

Vancouver BC., January 30, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Author Christopher Logan showcases the work of wonderful drag performers and photographers in his new picture book Dr.a.g. The book http://www.bookthefilm.com illustrates the great works of great drag queens like Mr. Larry Edwards, Joan Julian, Chad Micheals, Sherry Vine, Philmack Bocks, Jaylene Tyme, Dixie Longate, Frank Marino, Eddie Edwards, Randy Roberts and Shequida. Others include Jeffree Star, Glitz Glam, Roxxy Andrew, Mr. Kenneth Blake, Charles Busch, Lady Bunny, Joey Arias, Miss Coco Peru and the amazing ‘Marilyn Monroe centerspread’ Jimmy James.

Dr.a.g. has been tagged the 'the most respectful book on drag ever produced' and clearly illustrates how men are able to transform themselves and find their feminine sides. The performers were captured by some of the top fashion photographers like Magnus Hastings, Kristopher Reynolds, Ann Brown, Mike Ruitz, Jose A Guzman Colon, Austin Young, and Peter Ballandino. According to the book "Drag isn’t what you wear or who you are, it's how you wear who you are."

"Drag has become a diverse form of expression that challenges, entertains and educates by pushing boundaries, while embracing beauty, comedy and glamour," said Christopher Logan.  "The performers in this book are evidence of that diversity, captured by some of the top photographers working in the world today."

The book was put together to help raise funds for independent film productions. Drag celebrates the positive energy, spirit and talent of the featured drag queens and the author hopes the book can help drive more people to their shows and events.

The book also features the works of the legendary Jim Bailey on the last page. John Bailey has performed for the British Royal family at Carnegie Hall, and has turned in over 70 television and film appearances.
