Dream Town Adds New Chicago Real Estate Agent in April

Dream Town Realty announces the addition of Patrick Murphy to its team of residential specialists. Mr. Murphy has been in the real estate industry his entire life and is one of two experienced Chicago agents to join Dream Town this April.

Chicago, June 2010 – Chicago's leading online real estate brokerage, Dream Town Realty, announces that Patrick Murphy joined the company in early April. Mr. Murphy is an experienced realtor who has worked across the world in Ireland and in the local Chicagoland market since 2001. He is one of two new agents welcomed to Dream Town in the month of April.

Mr. Murphy is a native of County Galway in Ireland, where he resided until moving to Chicago 25 years ago following completion of his formal education. Mr. Murphy studied Civil Engineering at GMIT College in Galway and has spent his entire professional career in real estate in one form or another. His background extends from site engineering projects for industrial plants in the Irish Midlands to residential development and home sales in the Chicago area.

After working for many years with the development side of real estate, Mr. Murphy went on to get his State of Illinois broker's license in 2001. He provides services to home buyers, home sellers, property investors and other real estate clients in Chicagoland.

"My experience in different aspects of real estate is a huge advantage to my clients," Mr. Murphy explains. "I may be on the sales end of it now, but I have a thorough understanding of how every phase of the process interconnects and how it can affect my buyers or sellers."

Prior to becoming a broker, Mr. Murphy saw how housing was selected for an area, built from the ground up and marketed to consumers. His projects ranged from multi-unit complexes to single-family homes. That acquaintance with other sectors of real estate is combined with Mr. Murphy's astute business sense and familiarity of Chicago neighborhoods and suburbs.

"It's my job to walk clients through the home buying or selling procedure, address any challenges, and come up with solutions for a seamless transaction and successful deal," said Mr. Murphy. "I offer professional guidance, expert advice and a wealth of information that many other agents cannot provide."

As an agent with Dream Town, Mr. Murphy is part of a 150+ team of Chicago real estate specialists. Dream Town most recently welcomed the O'Connor/Hebson Group in May, headed by two local top producers: Barbara O'Connor and Colin Hebson. Ms. O'Connor specializes in North Side Chicago real estate and luxury homes while Mr. Hebson focuses on the downtown market and large-scale developments. The group consists of several other agents who all joined Dream Town this month and last.
