New England Coffee introduces a new addition to their line of Dark Roast Selects coffee varieties with Costa Rican Dark Roast

New England Coffee Company introduces Costa Rican Coffee, its fourth offering of their Dark Roast Selects ground packaged coffee, at supermarket retailers for consumers to purchase and brew at home. Dark Roast Select Coffees are made with 100% Arabica coffee beans that are roasted at a higher temperature and longer time, producing a darker color. Brewed, dark roast coffees are full-bodied with low-acidity and have a dominating bittersweet, intense flavor.

"Our Dark Roast Costa Rican coffee comes from the Tarrazu region, which is known for its bright and flavorful tasting coffee,” states Michael Kaloyanides, Vice President of Product & Business Development. “We have roasted this dark roast coffee variety to a 'Full City' roast profile, which is a medium dark color, to bring out the full rich flavor of this fine coffee. We believe that this is the perfect every day coffee for the consumer that is looking for a bright and rich full bodied taste.”
