Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded has announced the release of its fast and efficient EVM5410 + XDS510 emulator board which is designed for high performance TI DSP systems. This emulator board uses a fixed-point DSP TMS320VC5410A with 160MHz primary frequency and integrates an XDS510 emulator complying with all TMS320 family DSPs. It is commonly used in study, scientific research, experimentation and product development areas.
This EVM5410 + XDS510 emulator board includes four LED status indicators for power, internal JTAG ON, XF and DSP timer output. It offers analog signal I/O port and supports SPP8 & EPP LPT. The emulator board features great extending capability: the peripherals can be easily extended to meet diverse needs, such as A/D Sampling card, Storage card and network card. A DSP extending USB interface makes it convenient to use with any daughter card, such as BOOTLOADER card, extended RAM, extended AD/DA or network card. In addition, the integrated JTAG control circuits allow users to use CCS without an external emulator.
