Hospital developer donates windows for the newly opened Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield’s chapel to enhance patient healing.
(Springfield, Missouri and Indianapolis ‒ Aug. 13, 2014)The chapel of the recently opened Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital in Springfield, Mo., now is graced with beautiful stained glass windows donated by the hospital developer Duke Realty of Indianapolis.
“In addition to units with the latest equipment, high-tech therapy devices and treatments, the new Mercy rehab hospital offers a variety of amenities designed to enhance patient recovery,” says Keith Konkoli, Duke Realty Senior Vice President, Healthcare. “We’re pleased to donate beautiful stained glass windows to the hospital’s chapel, which we hope will help contribute to the calming, healing environment.”

The 60-bed, 63,000-square-foot rehab hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation for patients who are recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
