Dynamic TEFL Company Win Prestigious Business Award

Dingwall, Scotland, March 16, 2010 (PressReleasePoint) -- Enterprising TEFL Business wins prestigious award
Dynamic training organisation, TEFL Scotland, was voted Most Enterprising Business at the Highland Business Woman’s Club annual award ceremony on Friday night.
Jennifer Hallwood, co-founder of TEFL Scotland, was presented the award by Moray Firth Radio’s Nicky Marr, for developing innovative training courses throughout Scotland and the UK, enabling hundreds of victims of the recession to seek alternative job opportunities both home and abroad.
The courses provide native speakers of English from all backgrounds with the qualification to teach English in countries such as Spain, China and Mexico as well as right here in Scotland. “During the last year we have seen a substantial increase in the number of people who have been made redundant.” Jennifer Hallwood commented, “They are all looking for either a complete career change or a way to ride the recession.”
Judges, which included MFR boss Danny Gallagher, selected TEFL Scotland over runners up, Northern Recycling Solutions and Retail Consultants Ewe and Me, which provided TEFL Scotland with some stiff competition for the award, who now go on to the Scottish awards later this year in Aberdeen.
The HWBC awards recognised other businesses from the Highland with recession busting retail enterprises The Drawing Room and Araveli walking away with awards.
