Gramercy Mansion, a historic bed and breakfast just north of Baltimore, now offers Wild West Horseback Riding Adventures for guests interested in exploring Maryland’s countryside. Peacefully secluded on 45 acres of landscaped gardens and wooded trails in Maryland's Greenspring Valley, the restored Tudor mansion is situated in the heart of northern Baltimore County’s long-celebrated horse country. East coast guests experience the excitement of a day on the open trails arranged by Gramercy Mansion’s innkeepers.

Guests begin their day with a hearty breakfast at the Mansion. Driving directions in hand, they embark on a half hour scenic country drive to Misty Manor Riding Stable in Marriottsville. Here they are greeted by their own personal trail guide and meet their equestrian companions for the day. Wary first-timers need not fear; riding experience and equipment is not necessary, although carrots & apples are recommended! The experienced guide will lead the way along the trails of Patapsco State Park to Woodstock, where guests may then tie their horses at a hitching post and enjoy an all-inclusive lunch at the Woodstock Inn. Lunch is followed by a return trip on horseback to Marriottsville taking a different set of meandering trails on the other side of the river. Guests return to Gramercy to relax in a soothing whirlpool tub or take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool. Misty Manor Riding Stables offers guided trail rides rain or shine, with the only exception being thunder and lightening. The cost of the Wild West Horseback Riding Adventure is $175 per person in addition to the overnight room rate and must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance. Overnight accommodations are required for all packages.

About Us: Gramercy Mansion Bed & Breakfast offers a selection of eleven elegantly-appointed guest rooms ranging in price from $150 - $375 per night. Many rooms feature fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and king-sized beds. A full gourmet breakfast is included in the price of overnight accommodations.
