PITTSBURGH … Power management company Eaton today announced that it was recently recognized as one of the Best Employers in Argentina for 2013. Eaton ranked 32nd out of the best 150 companies in the country among employers with 200 or fewer employees. The ranking is determined annually by Apertura, a popular business magazine in Argentina.
“Eaton was recognized for our best practices, including the merit process, employee benefits, wellness programs, APEX (Achieving Performance Excellence), employee survey and employee advancement and retention,” said Julia Tetelboim, human resources manager, Power Quality Division, South America. “Being ranked among the Best Employers in Argentina is a testament to Eaton’s commitment to our employees, partners and customers.”
The results are based on 70 questions answered by human resources leaders from businesses throughout Argentina. The survey focused on five processes, including career growth, compensation, work environment, work schedule and development practices.
The magazine also gathered workplace opinions from employees with the most years of service and those who were most recently hired – as identified by their human resources leader. The results of these surveys were factored into the final decision on the best employer ranking.
