CLEVELAND … Power management company Eaton has announced that its aerospace facilities in Toccoa, Ga., and Jackson, Mich., were recently recognized for exceptional supplier performance by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, which provides supplies to America's military forces worldwide.
Both facilities received bronze awards for achieving 12-month scores of 98 to 98.9 percent in the DLA’s Automated Best Value Supplier evaluation system, which collects vendor performance data for quality and delivery and translates it into a numeric score ranging from zero to 100.
“By providing excellent military aftermarket support, Eaton employees play a vital role in supporting the operational readiness of America's armed forces," said Jeff Fiorini, vice president and general manager, Eaton’s Fluid and Electrical Distribution Division. “I congratulate our teams in Georgia and Michigan for achieving this recognition through their commitment to quality, customer service and continuous improvement."
