THISA's Annual Exhibit At Premier Healthcare Technology Event Showcases Best-of-Breed Solution Partners

(NEW ORLEANS, LA) February 25, 2007 — eEye Digital Security®, a leading developer of endpoint security and vulnerability management software solutions, today announced it will be a featured solution provider of the Trusted Healthcare Information Solutions Alliance (THISA), a national network of regional IT solution providers dedicated to delivering high confidence information solutions to healthcare organizations, in Booth #5611 at the annual conference of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), February 25 - March 1 in New Orleans, La.

This years show theme of "Transforming Healthcare Through IT" will be illustrated in the THISA booth, which will showcase real-world success stories of multi-vendor solution sets designed to address the IT challenges of healthcare organizations today. THISA will feature a live demonstration of smooth roaming; while video testimonials will highlight network security and ID/access management, to data center consolidation and virtualization, to business continuity and disaster recovery, and more. In eEye's case, they will be demonstrating their Unified Security Client Blink®, an award-winning endpoint security agent that incorporates anti-virus, spyware, host intrusion prevention systems (HIPS), firewalls, policy based application, storage and much more in order help healthcare IT solve their industry specific security issues.

"More than most industries, healthcare has a deep need for flexible data security at the endpoint level, as federal regulations demand they protect their patients' records while simultaneously limiting their ability to do so using software patches," said Ross Brown, CEO of eEye Digital Security. "Hospitals, in particular, are filled with expensive, Windows-based machines critical to the success of their business, but these machines can't be patched within a reasonable time frame due to FDA regulations. This means that critical machines are wide open to attackers and are thus unusable at best or an open HIPPA violation at worst. As a result, it is imperative these organizations invest in a Unified Client Security solution like Blink&reg which protects against attackers without requiring a signature or a patch."

It is just this kind of scenario that THISA was created to address. THISA's mission is to make IT efficient and easy to use so healthcare organizations can focus on what they do best - delivering the very best in quality care for patients. Collectively spanning nearly 80 percent of the US, THISA members offer unmatched breadth and depth of technical expertise, strong customer commitment, and the ability to deliver on time, in scope, and on budget - all from a single source.

"A critical element in what makes THISA effective is the ability of our alliance members to pull together best-of-breed software and networking solutions into a cohesive 'solution set' tailored to meet the specific demands of healthcare organizations, and seamlessly integrate within their own unique, often disparate, IT environments," said Bert Short, President of I-Access and a founding member of THISA. "eEye Digital Security, with its Blink&reg Unified Client Security endpoint solution, plays a key role by supplying a vital component to our multi-vendor, customer-centric solution offerings."
