LONDON - Infrarail 2014 - May 20, 2014 - Eltek today announced that it has been selected to supply a range of high efficiency power conversion products for phase two of the Nottingham Express Transit project (NET2), that will more than double the size of Nottingham's tram network by the end of 2014.
Eltek's power modules have already been approved by Network Rail, owner and operator of the UK's railway infrastructure, and are configured and programmed to provide the basis for both single and three-phase battery-backed uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems that service critical power applications throughout the Nottingham tram network.
Eltek equipment was selected for this project by main electrical contractor Blackburn Starling & Company Ltd's UPS specialist integrator, Harland Simon UPS Ltd. The Harland Simon integrated UPS's utilise Eltek's advanced technology to provide compact, high efficiency systems designed for simplified maintenance and operation.

Eltek will supply its high efficiency, high-density 19-inch rack DC rectifier modules with smart controller, Flatpack2 Integrated and Standalone systems, as well as INV222 inverters and static switches.
