Empower Technologies Congratulates INFLIGHT CANADA Winning Sales for IFC Proprietary Media Player and Company Update

September 17, 2010 – Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - Empower Technologies Corporation (TSX.V: EPT) (“Empower”) congratulates INFLIGHT CANADA, INC. (IFC) winning the first customer for their newly developed IFC proprietary Media Player.

IFC made the announcement at the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) (formerly World Airline Entertainment Association – WAEA) 31st Annual Conference & Exhibition in Long Beach, California September 12 - 16, 2010. The conference is the largest, most comprehensive exhibit of IFE technology, products and services in the world. More than 1,500 representatives of the world’s top airlines and IFEC system companies are expected to attend/exhibit at the industry’s premier event being held at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.

Empower is proud to be the prime contractor and key component supplier to IFC for the production of their proprietary Media Player.

On May 6, 2010, Empower and IFC signed a Customization and Three Year Supply Agreement (the Agreement).

Empower is pleased the said “Agreement” is moving forward as expected and look forward to IFC’s continued sales success in their airlines entertainment industry with the newly released IFC proprietary Media Player.

Effective October 1st, 2010, Empower will be moved to #130 – 3751 Shell Road, Airport Executive Park, Richmond, BC, V6X 2W2.

In August 2010, the Company’s board of directors approved granting of 2,510,000 stock options to the directors and employees of the Company.
