Enhance Technology UltraStor RS Series Now Certified for Windows Server 2008

UltraStor RS Series Fiber 4G and GbE iSCSI Enterprise storage solutions support up to 16x SAS or SATA HDDs with enterprise RAID features, such as, RAID6, volume expansion, web-based management, and snapshot that are ideal for data archive & shared SAN environment.  As Microsoft's technology partner, Enhance’s storage products are among the first to be certified for Windows Server 2008.

The UltraStor RS8/16 FS is the Fiber Channel-to-SAS/SATA Enterprise RAID storage systems. It features industry-leading performance on Intel IOP CPU with Dual 4GB FC ports connected to the host or FC switch, either working independently or with MPIO (Multi-path I/O) together creating up to 70,000 IOPS and 800MB/sec throughput. The UltraStor RS8/16 IP & IP-4 are the GbE iSCSI-to-SAS/SATA Enterprise RAID Storage systems with Dual (2x) or Quad (4x) GbE iSCSI ports that can work independently, trunking/LACP, or MPIO together. With built-in Intel Xscale IOP341 CPU, the highly optimized IP SAN arrays produce up to 120,000 IOPS and 600MB/sec throughput.

The UltraStor RS8/16 FS or IP-4 come with built-in SAS JBOD expansion port that is expandable & scalable to 4x more UltraStor RS16 JS Enterprise SAS JBOD storage arrays for up to 120TB total storage capacity.  Enhance Technology is devoted to a greener environment by implementing auto hard disk spin-down, storage virtualization certified by VMware ESX, and 80 plus power supply on the UltraStor RS Series to achieve cost efficiency, savings on power consumption, and a greener earth for everyone.
