Will Address Ways to Accelerate Revision Management of Technical Documentation for Aircraft Maintenance

BURLINGTON, Mass.—June 6, 2011—Enigma Inc., the leading software company for aviation service and parts, will be conducting a demonstration  at the AirTransport Association(ATA) annuale-Business Forum and S1000D User Forumon “Ensuring Parts and Maintenance Accuracy by Accelerating OEM Revisions.” The ATA e-Business Forum addresses the latest developments in information exchange to support engineering, maintenance, materiel and flight operations.

Enigma will demonstrate how airlines and maintenance, repair and overhaul shops (MROs) can automate the implementation of new revisions of maintenance and engineering documents, and turn a labor-intensive task measured in weeks or months into an automated procedure often completed in hours or days. The process of reviewing and approving OEM maintenance updates, revisions and service bulletins is critical to identify changes, resolve conflicts and distribute the latest content throughout the maintenance environment.

In a maintenance environment dominated by XML/SGML (including industry standard schemas), PDF (up to 70% of the content) and graphics/binary files, Enigma’sInService Revision Managerhelps reconcile updated service and parts information with existing maintenance practices and planning systems to accelerate service planning and turnaround time and increase uptime, regulatory compliance and safety.

“Automated revision management is a key IT offering that can dramatically reduce maintenance time and support costs. We are delighted to have this opportunity to speak with leading OEMs, airlines and MRO providers to help airlines and maintenance shops realize substantial efficiency gains and drive business growth,” said Jonathan Yaron, CEO of Enigma.

Enigma will also exhibit at the conference to demonstrate other Enigma aircraft maintenance solutions, such asInService MROandJob Card Generator. These solutions allow maintenance planners, technicians and engineers to improve maintenance speed and accuracy and to control the distribution of new and modified service information, including: parts, manuals, drawings, bulletins, job cards, engineering orders and more.

Enigma has helped airlines such asAir France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenanceand MRO facilities such as Atitech to decrease maintenance costs, increase equipment uptime and improve maintenance efficiency and consistency.
