The Events Industry Council announces nominations open for Hall of Leaders and Pacesetter Awards

The Events Industry Council announced that nominations are open for the 2018 Hall of Leaders and Pacesetter Awards. The Hall of Leaders is the premier recognition program in the events industry recognizing outstanding leaders who have shaped the industry throughout their career. The Pacesetter Awards recognize individuals whose recent accomplishments chart a course for the industry and celebrates emerging leaders and industry supporters.

"We always enjoy the seeing the nominations come in and learning about all the great accomplishments of the professionals in our industry who helped get us where we are today," said Karen Kotowski, CAE, CMP, President and CEO, Events Industry Council. "We look forward to reviewing nominations and recognizing another group of Hall of Leaders inductees and Pacesetter Award winners this year."

Nominations are now being accepted for those that have made a significant impact in shaping the events industry or those that have had recent achievements. Nominees for both awards should be submitted by Friday, February 16th. All documentation and  nomination essays are then due by Friday, March 16th.

The Hall of Leaders inductees and Pacesetter Award winners will be honored at an awards celebration held during IMEX America on Tuesday, October 16th.
