Company Earns Spot on Annual Listing of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies 

INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 25, 2010)– Inc. magazine today ranked on-demand email and interactive marketing solutions provider ExactTarget 1,404 on its annual ranking of the nation's 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America.

ExactTarget earned its place on the list with a

 from 2006 to 2009, making 2010 the fifth consecutive year the Inc. 5000 has featured ExactTarget.

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006 (with minimum revenue of $80,000). Additionally, companies had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit and independent as of December 31, 2009 (with minimum revenue of $2 million).

ExactTarget’s recognition on the Inc. 5000 comes a day after the company announced its acquisition of mPath Global in Sydney and Melbourne, creating ExactTarget Australia to serve clients throughout Australia and Asia Pacific.  The acquisition marks the company’s third acquisition in the past year.
