NASCAR veteran Scott Wimmer will be in the #40 Key Motorsports Chevrolet Impala this weekend for the Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway, a track Wimmer has had great success in the past. Wimmer has 15 previous starts at Bristol in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, with seven Top-10’s, and three Top-5’s. This will mark Wimmers 226th career Nationwide Series start with 6 Wins, 29 Top-5’s and 74 Top-10’s to his credit to date. Currently Wimmer is 22nd in the Drivers’ Championship on the season and Curtis Key is 32nd in Owner Points, but is locked into the race this weekend which is typically reserved for the Top-30 due to the fact they’ve attempted to make every round of the series this season.
