Los Angeles, CA, May 24, 2010 (PressReleasePoint) -- Recently released Science Fiction novel The Unincorporated War has already received rave reviews from Booklist and Library Journal. The book's release will be celebrated with a premiere event at Barnes & Noble's flagship store at Los Angeles, The Grove on Wednesday evening, May 26th, 7-10 PM
Science fiction luminaries and New York Times Best Selling authors, Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, plan on attending the event as well as participating in the live panel slated for the evening. Actress Chase Masterson, formerly of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and current star of the feature film Yesterday Was A Lie, will also be in attendance as a panel participant. Other authors slated to attend are multi-award winning author Cody Goodfellow and children's author Mel Gilden.
The Unincorporated War is the second book of three written by the Kollin brothers and purchased by Tor. It was released May 11, 2010 in hardback, and Amazon Kindle editions ( http://amzn.to/UnincorporatedWar ) and is also available in audiobook http://www.pressreleasepoint.com/submit-press-rele... from Audible.com and Brilliance Audio.
The Unincorporated War, set approximately 300 years into the future, continues where The Unincorporated Man left off. In a world in which humans themselves have become incorporated and most people no longer own a majority of themselves, one man - owned by no one - dares to fight those who'd enslave him. Exiled and hunted, Justin Cord must now lead a revolution in order to birth a nation.
"It's a faster-paced book," said Dani Kollin, "that examines what happens when a society that agrees on almost everything is sundered in two by a single issue."
"My brother and I are very excited that The Unincorporated War continues the idea we had for the arc of all the books - namely, what price freedom?" said Kollin's brother and co-author Eytan Kollin, who teaches history, government and economics.
