Author Robert Brennan’s new crime thriller introduces FBI Special Agent Kylon James, a federal warrior who’s his own ways and means committee, circumventing directives, ignoring protocol and winning.

Grandview, MO, United States., January 21, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) - Author Robert Brennan announced today the release of To Catch a Nightmare, Horror in Rural Missouri, A Kylon James Novel, published by Outskirts Press.  When a member of FBI Agent Kylon James’ special ops team is found mysteriously murdered in rural Missouri, the “eye for an eye” agent leads his remaining team members on a no holds barred pursuit of what turns out to be a well-connected, but ruthless band of men in charge of a huge covert criminal network.

Special Agent Eric Simpson is found murdered in the tiny Midwestern town of Martinville, Missouri, and no one knows what brought Simpson to this rural area in the first place.  His team leader, semi-maverick agent Kylon James, descends on the desolate county with the rest of his special ops team and joins forces with local Sheriff Cecil Duncan to track down Simpson’s killer.

Soon they are all knee deep in psychopathic killers, drug dealers and a cartel from the Texas/Mexico border area that has set up shop in the Missouri backwoods.  The body count quickly rises as James and his team, federal pit bulls out for blood, take on what they discover is a large criminal network that has been operating safely in the obscure boonies of rural Missouri.

To Catch a Nightmare is the first in the upcoming Kylon James series of action packed novels chronicling the hair raising and unorthodox adventures of this near-rogue special agent who usually defies the rule book, but always gets his man.

To Catch a Nightmare is available on-line in a paperback edition through Amazon and Barnes and Noble and at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore for a maximum trade discount in quantities of ten or more.
