SAP's Hybrid Integration Strategy Accelerates Time to Value for Cloud Solutions
SAP NEWSBYTE - SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced a new rapid-deployment solution to enable customers to quickly adopt innovative SAP cloud solutions in a phased manner rather than a more disruptive rip-and-replace approach. The SAP ERP HCM Integration to SuccessFactors rapid-deployment solution helps customers keep their implementation on track, on time and on budget. The approach is comprised of robust integration tools based on standard APIs and comprehensive pre-packaged integration content - both on premise and cloud-based. It ultimately helps lower cost, increase speed and enhance simplicity for customers running hybrid deployment scenarios.
"SAP strips the traditional complexity attached to a hybrid cloud deployment," said Steven Birdsall, senior vice president and general manager, SAP Rapid Deployment solutions. "With this approach we are creating an express lane between the on-premise and cloud worlds for our customers, helping them enhance and extend existing on-premise investments quickly to the cloud, while enriching SAP cloud solutions with content and data from SAP Business Suite."
Rapid deployment of SAP ERP HCM Integration to SuccessFactors combines extended pre-configuration and consulting services with prepackaged integration between the 6.0 version of the SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) solution and SuccessFactors Business Execution (BizX) suite. It delivers quick set-up and implementation of bi-directional pay-for-performance process integration between SAP ERP HCM and SuccessFactors Compensation, and full and incremental SAP employee and organizational management data upload to SuccessFactors BizX. Standardization enables quick and easy implementation at a fixed scope and price.
This is the fourth SAP Rapid Deployment solution supporting hybrid deployments. The SAP Business Collaboration rapid-deployment solution brings together the SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) application with the SAP Jam social software platform. The SAP Information Interchange OnDemand rapid-deployment solution combines components of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) application SAP ERP with the SAP Information OnDemand solution to support indirect procurement processes. The SAP Business Suite Integration with the Ariba Network rapid-deployment-solution brings together back-end SAP software securely and reliably to the Ariba Network. These solutions provide an integrated and reliable path between on-premise systems and cloud technology from SAP. The company has more than 150 rapid-deployment solutions across line-of-business, industries, mobile, analytics, database and cloud segments. All provide a preconfigured framework that helps enterprises launch new innovations more rapidly and with fewer risks.
