OKLAHOMA CITY (April 28,2014) On Tuesday April 29, Feed The Children will send emergency disaster relief supplies to aid victims of the devastating tornadoes in the Midwest and Southern regions of the US. Disaster relief supplies will leave Feed The Children’s Oklahoma City warehouse located at 29. N. McCormick around 9 a.m. The supplies will be delivered to The Arkansas Rice Depot in Little Rock and arrive by approximately 3 p.m.
Water provided by Feed The Children is already helping storm victims and first responders near Elizabeth City, North Carolina after six tornadoes injured 16 people and damaged 200 homes.
Feed The Children is coordinating with organizations and authorities in those regions to deliver more disaster supplies as requests for aid are received.
