FGV/EBAPE lecture series debates management challenges in Brazil

The Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV/EBAPE) will offer, during the second half of this year, the lecture series "Liderança e Estratégia” (Leadership and Strategy) - which will bring leaders of large public and private organizations to FGV in Rio de Janeiro.  The initiative is part of the Executive Master in Business Management (MEX) program and seeks to ponder over dilemmas and challenges faced when managing specific areas in Brazil, under the coordination of Professor Carlos Otavio Quintella and Marco Tulio Zanini.

The meetings start on July 29 and they will be attended by the CEO of Natura Institute, Pedro Villares; the Vice President of Finance and CEO of the holding company of logistics DGB (Grupo Abril); Douglas Duran; the President and CEO of BG Brazil, Nelson Silva; the President of Furnas, Flavio Decat; the President of the store network Magazine Luiza, Luiza Helena; the Chairman of the Technical Board of Sustainable Development of the City of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Vianna; Chevron Brazil's president, Eunice Carvalho; the president of Shell Brazil, André Araújo; the journalist and director of the news website SRZD, Sidney Rezende; and the philosopher and one of the partners of Ferraz Cortella Comunicações, Eventos, Editora e Palestras, Mario Sergio Cortella.

The lecture series "Liderança e Estratégia" is open to the public and will take place until October.
