Taipei, Taiwan, Province of China., February 20, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Wireless systems have been implemented wider and wider in the industrial or outdoor applications. Wireless communications however, are challenged by uncontrolled circumstances, such as obstructions in the terrain, high interference and extreme weather environmental factors fluctuations such as strong winds, dust, sun exposure and harsh climates. Addressing these concerns for industrial wireless applications, antenna has become one of the key elements in the resistance of severe challenges in the wireless communication systems.

Fiberglass antennas have been designed to support operations of Korenix JetWave and JetPort series for the improvement of wireless communication quality and for performance in harsh industrial and in outdoor conditions. Material of fiberglass has robust attribute as an alternative to rubber ones. Compared to rubber antenna, fiberglass antennas are encased in a UV- stable, which has maximum durability and are water and dust resistant which permits safe outdoor installation under the harshest of climates and situations. Moreover, maintenance and repair costs are able to be reduced.

Significant attribute of Fiberglass antenna - High Gain
Fiberglass antenna is a high gain, which delivers flawless data transfer performance. The Gain ability of an antenna's is to increase a Wi-Fi signal's strength, with the increasing spread of wireless communication capability has spurred growing demand for the development of antenna with greater efficiency and specialized capabilities such as high gain. In other words, when end users develop their wireless networks, the most essential function of an antenna is to focus in high Gain.

The JetWave series – Industrial Wireless AP supports several options of a fiberglass antenna, including 2.4G/5G band and Omni/sector/directional, which allows users to transmit the outstanding quality of traffic through the air.

The JetPort 5801 - Industrial 802.11b/g Wireless Serial Device Server has also been designed with a Fiberglass Antenna and Real COM for high performance serial to wireless data transmission and management under harsh industrial conditions, including mobile circumstances and hard-to-wired environments.
