Final Showdown Battle - 1st Dawrak Music Debate in Alexandria

After months of hard work, preparations and training, Alexandria will be witnessing the birth of eight young rappers of its own, as Dawrak Music Debate is having its final concert at St. Gabriel School, Saturday 28 June, at 6:00pm.

Dawrak Music Debate, led by professional musicians, is adopting a concept of "music as a tool for dialogue" to enable these young talents with knowledge and skills on debating through rap and using music as a mean for self-expression.

Those talented youngsters had the opportunity to participate for two months in Dawrak Music Debate Workshop culminating in a large-scale concert attended by Alexandrian audience. This is the chance to showcase their newly acquainted skills for dialogue through rap lyrics written by the young talents during the workshops.

Dawrak - Citizens for Dialogue, in cooperation with Young Arab Voices are exploring innovative ideas to provide Dialogue Spaces for young debaters and musicians to involve debates and music as a mean to voice the issues that concern them and their communities.

This is one battle you do not want to miss. Show up early and be ready to do some judgment. In the end, it is your call to declare the winner of this final round. Come join us, entrance free.
