After Mo’Nique appeared on The View and The Breakfast Club last week, a black man has finally stepped up and spoken out about the comedian’s quest for equal pay.

All hail Chance The Rapper. The 24-year-old took to Twitter over the weekend to pledge his allegiance to the comedian amidst her ask for a Netflix boycott.

Im with Mo’Nique.

Anybody remember when Mo’Nique filmed a special in a women’s correctional facility?

The Chicago MC referred to the comedy special, Mo’Nique: I Coulda Been Your Cellmate, where she performed at The Ohio Reformatory for Women in 2007.

It strikes me as odd (actually, no it doesn’t) that there have been no black men publicly stand up in support of Mo, despite her approach (Jada Pinkett Smith and even Wendy Williams spoke out in support early on in the call for the boycott). I guess the #TimesUp movement only applies if you’re likable.

Find out what celebrities like Tichina Arnold, Erica Ash, Lance Gross and Jemele Hill say time should be up on while at the 49th NAACP Image Awards in January.

TELL US: Where do you stand on the Mo’Nique vs Netflix boycott?
