The first choice for cloud solutions
CeBIT 2013: Deutsche Telekom is located in hall 4, stand C 26.
Feb 21, 2013
After cloud technology in 2011 and the topic of "managing trust" in 2012, the cloud-based "Shareconomy" is the focus of this year's CeBIT.
This year, the sharing and collaborative use of knowledge, resources and experiences is the focus of CeBIT, the most important trade fair for the digital economy in the world. Appropriately, "Your first choice for cloud solutions" is Deutsche Telekom's motto for the Hanover event.
Collaboration in the cloud
Networks, bandwidth, storage space, computing capacity and applications – they all benefit from the cloud. Deutsche Telekom is the first choice for cloud solutions. Europe's largest telecommunications group offers comprehensive, end-to-end services for any need.
Through its cloud services, Telekom helps business customers to cut costs and work more flexibly. They also take care of maintenance and updates. Cloud services continuously adapt to the current business volume, and can be topped up or reduced as and when needed.
From having to sharing
Security is a top priority for all cloud services. All data is stored in Deutsche Telekom's certified, high-security data centers and protected from unauthorized access. Critical data exchanges are also encrypted via the high-performance Telekom networks. End-to-end solutions provide Telekom's customers with a high degree of security, access protection and transparency.
After cloud technology in 2011 and the topic of "managing trust" in 2012, the cloud-based "Shareconomy" is the focus of this year's CeBIT.
Modern tools that enable the rapid, consistent sharing of knowledge are already reality at successful companies. Blogs, wikis, collaboration, votes and other software solutions will continue to add dynamism to the working world in coming years.
Innovation through cooperation
The demand for broadband will continue to grow significantly both in mobile communications and in the fixed network. Deutsche Telekom is therefore substantially stepping up investments in broadband networks and products over the coming three years.
The focus is on Germany, where activities will center around building out the LTE network as well as rolling out optical fiber and vectoring technology in the fixed network. In turn, this will pave the way for new, innovative offers, some including partners. Several joint ventures will be presented live at CeBIT from March 5-9 at the Deutsche Telekom stand in hall 4.
