First Intake of Pertamina Engineers Graduate from GE Oil & Gas University in Asia

Jakarta, Indonesia – April 19, 2011 –GE Oil & Gas is pleased to announce that 61 engineers and other professionals have graduated from the first Indonesian intake of GE’s Oil & Gas University Programme, an initiative aimed at providing leadership and technology training for oil and gas professionals.

Experts from GE and professional associates covered various aspects of the energy industry during the course, which was specifically designed for employees of Pertamina, Indonesia’s national oil and gas company, and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries.

The 7-week tailored course was a condensed version of GE Oil & Gas’ technologies programme, which is six months long and held at the company’s headquarters in Florence, Italy. Core modules included Leadership Skills, Energy and Oil & Gas Processes and Rotating Equipment
