FlipOut for Babies!, A Fundraiser for the March of Dimes® and Hosted By Farmers Insurance®, On Tap for Friday July 9 at 7 :30 p.m.

Huntington Beach, CA (June 25, 2010) — A unique partnership joining the March of Dimes®, Farmers Insurance®, Don the Beachcomber® restaurant and one of Orange County’s premiere bands, FlipOut!, invites Southern California beachgoers and land-lovers alike to a special “FlipOut for Babies!” night of music, prizes and fun on Friday, July 9 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Don the Beachcomber, located at 16278 Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach.

“What better way to spend an evening than in the company of others who also support the March of Dimes’ mission to give all babies a healthy start,” said John McLaren, Farmers Insurance District Manager in Huntington Beach. “Farmers is dedicated to improving the health of babies and events likes these demonstrate to our community, employees and customers, that we care about them and the fight to give all babies a healthy start in life.”

Joining FlipOut! for a special performance on the 9th will be Johnny DeMaria from the band Healios. Our MC for the evening is well known comedian Grace Fraga. In addition, raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the night for those guests wishing to participate. Also guests are encouraged to bring their own baby photo (under 2 years) for a photo contest with prizes!

Funds raised by this event support lifesaving research and educational programs aimed at giving every baby a healthy start. The March of Dimes, in partnership with Farmers Insurance, is helping to reduce the number of premature babies by funding research to find the answers to premature birth and providing comfort and information to families who are affected.
