Discover latest advancements in waterjet cutting speed for stone fabrication - Booth 4996

KENT, Wash., March 1, 2010 – Flow International Corporation (NASDAQ: FLOW) will demonstrate the incredible cutting speed available with HyperPressure waterjet technology at Coverings, April 27-30 in the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL.

Flow's HyperJet® pump is rated to 94,000 psi, 40% higher than conventional pumps, achieving faster, more accurate cutting compared to any other waterjet system. This high-speed waterjet technology eliminates the need for saw cutting of straight lines and the associated programming complexity, handling and material waste.

Flow waterjets are the most versatile and productive machine tool for cutting natural stone, engineered stone, marble, or tile, as well as virtually any other material. The unique omni-directional ability of a waterjet allows fabricators to easily cut faucet holes, sink bowl cut outs, straight and curved counter contours, inlays and other net shapes accurately and all in one processing step.   Tight nesting capabilities reduce waste and production costs.

Application Specialists will be on hand to answer questions, and demonstrate how Flow's waterjet technology can help fabricators expand their capabilities.
