Flying Cargo Express, a licensee of FedEx Express has entered into a ground-breaking new contract with ByBox; a locker based solutions company, which will seek to revolutionise delivery in Israel.

Coventry, UK, February 1, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -

Flying Cargo Express, a licensee of FedEx Express has entered into a ground-breaking new contract with ByBox; a locker based solutions company, which will seek to revolutionise delivery in Israel.

From April, ByBox will be installing its electronic lockers at Paz fuel stations, universities and shopping centers across Israel as a means of enabling retail consumers and engineers to collect their Flying Cargo Express deliveries at their convenience. Users, ranging from online shoppers to engineers, will be sent a text message when a delivery is made and will be able to collect from their closest locker 24/7; no more having to wait at home for items to arrive or travelling to depots to pick up parts.

As well as being convenient, the service is also efficient; customers will not have to arrange their day around a delivery and can pick up their items from as early as 8am. For engineers, who require parts to carry out repairs and maintenance, the locker service allows them to fit more jobs into their day and start their day working day earlier. And finally for consumers in Israel, it means a real choice about where to have their parcels delivered; perhaps into a locker close to their home or their place of work. Customers can then pick-up at their convenience, knowing their parcels will be waiting for them.

The most reliable solution on the market, ByBox has been tried and tested in the UK, France, Ireland and the Benelux where it operates lockers at over 1,500 locations, with 20 million deliveries made each year.

The Flying Cargo Group develops and provides advanced logistic solutions, suitable for the needs of Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Distribution. Using the ByBox lockers, it aims to make the distribution process much easier for its customers.

Udi Dagan, CEO of Flying Cargo Express - FedEx Express licensee in Israel said: “Our partnership with ByBox is a giant leap forward in the goal of modernising delivery and making the process easier and more convenient for our users. ByBox lockers are used all over the world and we are excited about bringing them to Israel. Placing the lockers at Paz fuel stations, universities and shopping centers will mean they will be within close proximity of potential customers and they can collect their deliveries with ease. We want our customers to have an additional delivery option and enjoy the convenience of the ByBox locker solution.”
