Cadac Organice Cloud Solution provides the FCA and her partners a hosted platform for collaboration based on Microsoft SharePoint

Heerlen, Netherlands, January 17, 2012 - (PressReleasePoint) - Cadac Organice, a Microsoft Gold ISV Partner, supports the restructuring project of Food Center Amsterdam with her hosted solution for engineering document management. The Cadac Organice Cloud Solution provides the FCA and her partners a hosted platform for collaboration based on Microsoft SharePoint.
 
Food Center Amsterdam (FCA) is the wholesale market for the sale of fresh products for retailers and restaurants in the wider area of Amsterdam. It also has a number of main port companies for the nationwide distribution of fresh products. Over 80 entrepreneurs rent or own a building or office space on the 22 hectares of land. FCA serves about 10,000 customers and provides jobs for 2,500 people. In 2009, Food Center Amsterdam celebrated its 75^th anniversary.
 
Because the FCA contributes to traffic congestion in the inner city of Amsterdam and urgently needed a facelift, it issued a tender for the restructuring and creation of a sustainable business park. There are three consortia participating in the tender. Carla van der Linden, Assistant Project Manager: “To prevent intensive email traffic between all project partners, we went looking for a document management system. An important requirement in our selection process was the ability to grant external partners access to the system. Therefore we chose Cadac Organice and Microsoft SharePoint in the Cloud. All our project partners can easily access the hosted document management system at the right security level.”
 
The three selected consortia have submitted and uploaded their proposals to the hosted SharePoint environment. In the hosted environment they are immediately available and accessible to the Advisory Teams. It is also always clear which is the latest and final version of a document. Carla van der Linden: “The Cadac Organice Cloud Solution provides us optimal accessibility of documents and information. It is immediately clear which is the latest and final version of a document. The system allows us to collaborate with multiple users at the same time and prevents intensive and unnecessary email traffic between the involved partners.”
