Food to Die For at Devon’s Agatha Christie Festival
The world-famous annual Agatha Christie Festival unites murder mystery fans and food lovers. Once again taking place on the stunning English Riviera in South Devon, from 11th-18th September, this spectacular festival includes a wealth of fine dining options to die for!

The spectacular festival celebrates the world’s greatest crime fiction writer, Dame Agatha Christie and her best-known detectives, Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot. Foodie fans will enjoy tasting West Country culinary delights during exciting murder-mystery luncheons, dinners, afternoon tea dances, canapé receptions, vintage bus tours with supper, garden parties and more.
The festival draws to a close with a special Cream Tea Day at Cockington Court, Torquay rounding off the food-lover’s perfect Agatha Christie Festival.

Greenway Literary Dining Club hosted by John Curran
A book club with a twist! In the style of Agatha Christie’s Tuesday Night Club, diners will discuss her writing, including Dead Man’s Folly, which can be read in advance. Influences from the house and grounds will be explored. Canapés to be served on arrival, with dinner in the Dining Room followed by a chaired discussion of Christie’s literary works. Includes themed guided tour of the house.

Murder Mystery at Orestone Manor
In conjunction with the Candlelight Theatre Company the action begins over pre-dinner drinks and concludes over coffee. While you sit down to a delicious dinner, our actors will lay the clues that you have to unravel. It is up to you to investigate and accuse a suspect. Guests are encouraged to join in although no-one is given a particular character and it’s fine by us if all you want to do is sit back and relax and let us entertain you.
