Lynda Weinman, co-founder and executive chair of, parent company to Austria-based video2brain, will talk about the growing debate on in-person vs. online learning. While online education can be great for cost-cutting, personalization, accessibility and scaling distribution, what is the role of the classroom educator? Lynda will discuss how both can work together to foster the skills of critical thinking, collaboration, communication and curiosity.

Also presenting at the show is Laurie Burruss, a professor at Pasadena City College and an education consultant at In her session, Laurie will explore how organizations can produce their own innovators through effective teaching and learning approaches—something not always embraced in classrooms and boardrooms. By using “hallway” meetings, sidebar discussions and small team projects to encourage a culture of innovation, organizations can foster creativity and passion that fuel productivity, collaboration and long-term financial success.
