The Four Fountains Spa - a chain of affordable health spas in Pune - has launched Monsoon Mist - a special massage for the monsoon using Aromatherapy Massage techniques and a unique blend of patchouli and cedarwood aromatic oils.

Pune – 31 May 2009

There's no better season than monsoon for spa therapies. The downpour rids the air of dust while the moisture in the air opens the pores of your skin and makes your body more receptive to the goodness of aromatic oils.

The Four Fountains Spa presents 'Monsoon Mist' - a new aromatic massage to celebrate the magic of monsoon. This massage combines the techniques of the classic aromatherapy massage and uses a blend of Patchouli and Cedarwood essential oils to evoke memories of the first showers of the season.

Patchouli oil comes from the leaves of a bushy herb native to tropical regions of Asia. Its aroma is earthy and reminiscent of the first rain. It is known for its antifungal properties and counters athlete’s foot and other minor skin infections common during the monsoon.

Cedarwood oil is a soft-smelling oil with a woody aroma and a faint undertone of sandalwood. Cedarwood is known to help control odor and absorb excessive moisture. Its sedating ability also relieves itching.

This limited edition 60 min massage is priced at Rs. 1,199/- (inclusive of all taxes) and will be available at the 3 locations of The Four Fountains Spa (Aundh, Koregaon Park and Magarpatta City) from 1 July’09 to 30 September'09.
