The summit, which takes place on 20 May 2013 at The Brewery, will bring together business leaders with unique insights into the 2008 financial crisis and the critical questions still being asked about the leadership, corporate governance and regulatory frameworks that allowed it to happen. The London Business School is very well known for its leadership training and other business courses.
The Summit speakers include:
· David Sproul, Senior Partner & CEO, Deloitte UK
· Paul Polman, CEO, Unilever and Vice-Chairman of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development
· Alessandro Profumo, Chairman, Monte dei Paschi di Siena
· Summit Chair, Richard Quest, International Business Correspondent, CNN International
Lucrezia Reichlin, Professor of Economics, London Business School and former Director General for Research at the European Central Bank, is one of the School’s world class faculty speaking on the panel: ‘Beyond reforms and recriminations – The future of financial leadership’. This part of the day promises an honest look – without the hysteria – at the global finance industry and the reform that is critical to its future and the future of the global economy as a whole.
Professor Sir Andrew Likierman, Dean, London Business School, said: “This platform will enable a deeper debate about the systemic frailties of existing structures and models of leadership.
“Combining the experience of high profile decision makers with the expertise of London Business School faculty, we will discuss models of leadership that are capable of rebuilding the political, corporate, environmental and social landscape.”
