The newly established Perth USAsia Centre is on Tuesday (4 March) hosting one of Australia's most outstanding political leaders and current Ambassador to the United States, The Honorable Kim Beazley, AC to share his views on the current state of US-Australia relations. 

Following his initial presentation, Ambassador Beazley will answer questions from the audience.

Ambassador Beazley's is the first in a series of presentations to be hosted by the Perth USAsia Centre, announced in November 2012 by former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.  The Centre aims to become a leading policy think tank on the Australia-Asia-US strategic and economic relationship, a teaching and research centre, and a conduit for a deeper understanding in Australia of US business, culture, history, politics and foreign policy.


  • There will be a doorstop interview opportunity with Kim Beazley, the Perth USAsia Centre CEO Gordon Flake Director Perth USAsia Centre, Stephen Smith outside the Dolphin Theatre from 10.40am (prior to the presentation)
