This G.165 line echo cancellation software features double-talk detection which avoids divergence during double talk. It cancels electrical line echoes caused by 2-to-4 wire conversion hybrids in telephone lines. The line echo canceller is also designed for integration with other software modules from GAO such as our DTMF Encoder/Decoder to enhance performance.

GAO's G.165 line echo cancellation software is implemented in assembly or C and consists of two user-callable functions which perform echo cancellation and initialization operations. This software is compliant with the ITU G.165 recommendation and is ideal for full-duplex operation.

This G.165 line echo cancellation software belongs to GAO's family of Telephony Software.
