Gartner Announces Three Finalists for the Wireless & Mobile Excellence Award
Winner to Be Announced at Gartner Wireless & Mobile Summit in Chicago, February 23-25
STAMFORD, Conn., February 3, 2009—
Gartner, Inc. announced today the three finalists for the inaugural Gartner Wireless & Mobile Excellence
Award.A team of Gartner analysts evaluated and selected 3 finalists based on how well they demonstrated excellence in their wireless & mobile initiatives.
The finalists are Anthony Marano Company, Coca Cola Enterprises and Royal Mail.Each finalist will present their cases to attendees at the Gartner Wireless & Mobile Summit taking place February 23-25 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers in Chicago. The attendees’ feedback as to which of the finalists they feel is the best example of wireless excellence will determine the winner. The winner will be announced during the conference.
“Mobile and wireless technologies are crucial for every organization, but they must carefully choose and use the mobility solutions that will support their customers and employees. The goals, processes and metrics vary, as do the technologies used. Here are great examples of the lessons learned and the best practices as companies pursue their own successful mobility objectives,” said John Girard, Gartner vice president and distinguished analyst and Summit chair.
