The Gloucestershire Cricket Board "dream team's" opponents for the first ever Ten 10 Summer Smash competition have been announced.
The side made-up of 10 of the county's best club cricketers will come up against the likes of Gloucestershire legend Mark Alleyne (pictured), ex-Pakistan international Sadiq Mohammed and prolific batsman Tony Wright, in the four team tournament at the Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket Festival.
Also competing in the event is a Gloucester Rugby team that includes Cherry and Whites heroes Andy Deacon and Terry Fanolua and Gloucester MP Richard Graham.
And the line-up is completed by a Brewin Dolphin XI starring former South Africa and Worcester back Thinus Delport and ex-England rugby player Olly Morgan.
The event takes place this Friday (July 25) and tickets for the day are £5 per adult with free entry for Gloucestershire members and people aged 18 or under.
The gates open at 11am with the action starting at 12.30pm with a match between the Gloucestershire Old Boys and the Gloucestershire Cricket Board XI.
Matches will be played in the unusual 10 overs-a-side format and every outfield player must bowl an over. The competition will culminate in a final starting at around 5.10pm.
