MST is pleased to announce the appointment of Gijima AST as our representatives in South Africa. Gijima will also represent MST and support existing customers in other African countries, including Tanzania, Namibia, Ghana, DR Congo and Botswana.

MST and Gijima have taken this step due to the increased demand for MST’s communication technologies in South Africa and elsewhere in Africa. With Gijima’s strong technical and IT skills, it was a very good fit with MST’s hardware, software and infrastructure solutions.

The contact for Gijima in Africa is:Mike WoodhallTel: +27 (0) 11 209 0744Fax: +27 (0) 11 209 0709Email: mike.woodhall@gijima.com

MST has had several of it’s people in South Africa over the last few months meeting with mining groups and training Gijima personnel. Most recently a group of four Gijima personnel have come to Australia for two weeks training at MST’s Sydney and Kalgoorlie offices.

This intensive training, plus the quality and strength of Gijima AST, will form a great platform for the introduction of MST’s technologies into South Africa, and we look forward to working more closely with the African mining industry.
