The mission of Nature's Grocer is to provide Tolland County residents and visitors with a combination of quality natural foods, grocery items and wheat/gluten free baked goods. Nature's Grocer was established by Bob and Sue Spector, two long-time foodies and Tolland County residents, who were looking to create a natural foods option for shoppers east of the river. When Sue was diagnosed with Celiac disease it quickly became clear that the opportunities for baked goods outside the home were virtually non-existent. Bob, a bake-a-holic, immediately began his quest to create appetizing gluten free baked goods that non-celiacs could appreciate as well.
