San Francisco, CA, September 27, 2011 (PressReleasePoint) -- GoldenOar, Inc. announced today an IT sales symposium to be held during Cartes 2011 in Paris, France. This three hour event will be on November 15, 2011 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM with private meetings with vendor specific marketing proposals being held throughout the exhibition.

“This event is focused on preparing innovative non-USA IT vendors for going across the pond to enter the USA market” said John Ochinero founder and CEO of GoldenOar, Inc. “Vendors will receive a virtual ‘Cookbook’ on how to enter the USA market with specific attention on sales channel development including integrators, managed service providers, distributors and private label opportunities”.

Ochinero went on to say that participating vendors will receive such administrative samples as required government forms, channel agreements; as well as templates for service contracts and finance organization forms (for funds against accounts receivable).

Emphasis on High Value Sales Partners

The emphasis of the presentation will be on the acquisition, retention and growth of Integrators, Distributors and MSP’s (Managed Service Providers). “There are approximately 72,000 channel partners servicing the small-to-midsize market in the USA today” said Ochinero “20% of these prospective partners, or about 14,500 resale organizations, have competencies that capitalize on both market opportunities as well as generate significantly greater margins”.

Ochinero went on to define desired Channel competencies as business analytics or predictive modeling, business process management, mobility and unified communication. “One of the clear obstacles for European and worldwide IT innovations from entering the USA market is also the attraction: the pure magnitude and diversified channel threads to the actual customer” continued Ochinero “Our presentation, digital documentation, follow-up meetings and channel opportunities will provide IT Vendors with the knowledge that will save them up to hundreds of thousands of dollars when they dramatically expand their revenue stream by coming to North America”. The annual Cartes 2011 exhibition is focused on digital security, payments, smart technologies and mobility. With approximately 450 exhibitors from 150 countries with an anticipated 20,000 attendees, the exhibition is featuring a new Mobility Pavilion.

High-growth horizontal solutions such as CRM, ERP as well as incredibly sensitive data in vertical markets such as health care and social services requires digital security; the key is to partner with the MSP’s and Integrators that have a strong referral reputation, can successfully present a return on investment (ROI) to the Client and provides the maximum security for their data”.
