GPAC System™ Awarded International Prize

San Diego, CA. March 10, 2010 – Western Australian company ETCorp’s GPAC System™ scooped the top prize in the 7th annual The Security Summit Awards which recognize innovative world-class security technologies from around the globe.

The GPAC System™ was awarded first prize in the Communications, Interoperability & Hastily Formed Networks category, by a panel of five national and international judges including representatives from Defense and Homeland Security Agencies. The event was hosted by the Security Network and featured speakers and panels which included government, military, academia and industry representatives from multiple countries.

Sahid Sesay, Special Projects Officer with ETCorp explained the benefits of the System "You can remotely browse into any fixed or mobile asset with the GPAC System™, giving real time access to sensors and cameras to deliver the right information to the right person at the right time. The GPAC System™ is much More Than Video™, enabling organizations to automate security, integrate fixed and mobile systems and share data easily without additional license costs".

The importance of the award was stressed by ETCorp CEO, Martin Cebis “The Security Network has real judges and users from the coal face of Security and Defense and provides validation that ETCorp's mission "To connect to, and bring to life every device so that computers work for people" is being realized to deliver better capability to their communities.
