Great Britain ready to open the 2014 Women's World Championship

The wait is almost over: tomorrow will see the GB Women’s Team roar into action as they open the play at the largest ever Women’s World Wheelchair Basketball Championship in history.

With 12 teams battling it out for the title in Toronto (Canada), your GB Women have the honour of taking to court for the first match of the Championship where they will open their Campaign in Pool B against Brazil at 1pm BST on Friday 20th June.

Great Britain’s second game of the tournament will see the team then take on Germany at 1am BST on Sunday 22nd June before they battle it out against Japan at 1am BST on Monday 23rd June.

At 3pm BST on Monday 23rd June, the GB Women will face China in their penultimate game of the pool, with their last game of the round-robin stage then seeing the team tip off against host nation Canada at 11pm BST on Tuesday 24th June.
