Green Auto Recyclers Embrace the Web

New York, NY, November 03, 2009 (PressReleasePoint) -- Auto recyclers take a big-step forward by embracing a new search engine marketing program. Having your business rank high in the search engines is very cutting edge and takes a lot of commitment.
Sometimes getting with the program can be difficult, especially in an industry that has been largely unchanged for decades. These ‘blasts from the past’ that still do business on their ‘word’ and ‘a handshake’ have vaulted forward into the twentieth century and beyond by following the lead of David Gold from Standard Auto Wreckers (www.standardautowreckers.com) - one of the most progressive auto recyclers in North America.
David started the Green Vehicle Disposal (www.greenvehiclediposal.com) program a few years ago. Realizing the disposal of old automobiles in an eco-friendly way is very important to the future of auto recycling throughout North America, he started talking to his friends in the industry, encouraging them to come together as a group to try and build their own businesses based on the mission of sharing knowledge and making the world a cleaner place and now with its marketing arm it is helping auto recyclers claim their place on the web by facilitating their web marketing programs.
Currently the program has over 80 members across Canada and the USA and is partnered with over 120 charities and non-profits throughout North America. When asked what he (David Gold) is most proud of he says; “I simply love cars and being able to help folks save money while making the planet greener is a special blessing.” I also got a chance to ask him about another of his pet projects, the donation of cars to charities, on that he says; “When you get a chance to help those less fortunate in your own community it really makes you feel great, everyone that donates their cars to charity is a hero!”
The charity car program (www.charitycar.us) is something that developed a few years back when David started offering his own customers the chance to contribute the proceeds of their old cars to useful causes in the community. Now charitable donations account for a large portion of all vehicle recycling done by Standard Auto Wreckers.
In conclusion, I am happy to see auto recyclers everywhere making a difference in not only their local communities but the whole planet at large. I wish all industry took their lead and cared a little more about others instead of the bottom line.
